Motorola Droid X review and overview. In this video I cover the Hardware Texting on the phone and also Web browsing on it. Droid X by Droid X Specs ; Texas Instrument OMAP 3630 with dedicated sgx530 gpu 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen 854×480 8 mega pixel Camera and shoots at 720p Running motoblur 2.1 Able to upgrade to 2.2 froyo soon.

SudoGlove aims to bridge the gap between the user and traditional physical hardware devices. Given the high learning curve in understanding how to use foreign technologies, we hope to break away from conventional control mechanisms and explore an intuitive way to control these devices. SudoGlove will provide a tangible interface that relies on hand gestures to wirelessly control any device or software. By removing the distance between the user and traditional hardware devices, our goal is for SudoGlove to feel more like an extension of the body as opposed to an external machine. As an investigation into this idea, the goal of this project is to capture simple hand gestures from the SudoGlove and use that input to wirelessly control a modified RC car. At the moment, controlled variables include speed, steering, headlights, siren lights, siren sounds, the horn, and forward/reverse using a combination of flex, force, vibration, and gyroscopic sensors. @ihop23947 i had the lg dare for over a year and it recently broke. im using a friends enV 2 until my update in february, and i absolutely hate the solid keyboard. i was so used to the touchscreen keyboard that i am slower at texting now than i was with my first phone.

@Hanklink1014 I agree, Motorola failed with Motoblur. Even my Droid 1 runs great with ADW Launcher.

@Bacon676 he could just have lots and lots of apps and stuff. Thats probably why its chugging so much. The droid x has a better processor so I would think it would be faster if im not mistaken.

Texting on a touchscreen couldn’t be more annoying. No phone, iphone, motorola, whatever can do it well. You must have a slide out real keyboard to do real texting. Touch screens are cute, trendy and look cool, but practical they are not.

is it true the screen cant even support the high resolution 8.1 megapixel camera pictures that it takes?Im not being negative or anything im just wondering,i watched a review that a guy on youtube did with the droid vs the iphone4 and he said something like the screen doesnt have enough dots to support the pictures it takes unlike the ip4 with the retina display has alot more dots?would the ip4s retina screen be able to fully support a picture from your phone?whew lol that was alot of typing

@AfroPenKid really?from the video, the web browsing seems very choppy… wouldnt you agree the iphone 4 has the smoothest mobile web browsing? in terms of zooming and scrolling through pages

@Bacon676 its not the fault of the phone, but the default home launcher. there are a ton of videos of the droid x running Launcher Pro, and there you can see that the phones run extremely smooth.

@MrTDH11 I would say Desire HD. But that wouldnt matter because if you live in Europe ur only choice is DHD, if you live in America ur option is only DroidX (if ur with verizon)

@sciguy14 you should approch a toy maufacturer and sell it to them, you would need a patent ect but it would be some extra cash with little extra efford kids would go crazy for that sort of toy man.
