Is this ram compatable with this motherboard? Non-conductive screws (standoffs)??…that’s not true…the real purpose of these standoffs is to ground the motherboard to the case.

@RSSsailing you forgot the 16gigs of ram, i would recommend about 5-10 of those for beginners.

@Manifest222 lol AMD’s brand new top of the range 1090T hex-core processor is about the same performance as an i7 930. its quad-core flagship the Phenom II X4 965 is a little better in-game
Intel is MILES ahead in regards to performance, but you won’t find an i7 980 for under $1000, where AMD’s 1090 is about $300. 3 for the price of 1 has been AMD’s philosophy since forever ;P
My phenom will still run crysis on 1920×1080 very high everything + full AA, only about 10-20 fps slower..it’s about $!

@amindumaru actually its recommended that beginners buy at least 10 5970′s and a few i7 980x’s with a couple dozen SSD’s thrown in there, and maybe a few GTX 480′s just in case you don’t like the 10 5970′s. But for gods sake make sure you also buy a couple 30″ monitors so those 10 5970′s don’t go to waste.

@jadeethan84 Of course. I personally would go with dual 5870′s rather than a single 5970, but thats still a monster setup.

You’re going to get horribly ripped off at best buy.
Plus, unless you’re planning on playing anything else that’s actually really graphics intensive, I don’t think playing just combat arms really warrants getting a new comp.
